I was born in Tbilisi where I currently work in the former art studio of my grandfather, who was also a painter during the Soviet period in Georgia.
I graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. During the studies I participated in various exhibitions and projects together with other students.
I am interested in the thought process of the human, particularly in the sensitive and vulnerable conditions and the mutual impact.
I work in different kinds of media such as drawing, video, site specific, installation and mainly painting.
I am also involved in social projects. Since September 2018 I am organising Conversas Tbilisi – an informal series of conversation meetings supporting the discussion and exchange of experience. Recently I also founded a non profit organisation “Kontaktobana”, the aim of which is to support connections between different communities through art.
